Our Methods

Every tool and therapy we use at Meraki exists for one reason: to support the body’s innate ability to heal. We do not chase symptoms. We build the conditions the nervous system needs to regulate, repair, and grow — and the methods below are how we do it.

Chiropractic care is the foundation of everything. Every other tool on this page is chosen because it works with that foundation — reducing interference, restoring energy, and giving the brain and body the inputs they need to function at their best.

The Foundation of Everything We Do

Specific chiropractic adjustments are the cornerstone of care at Meraki. By restoring proper alignment and movement in the spine, we reduce neurological interference, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and give the brain clearer, more accurate information about the body and environment. Every other method we use builds on this foundation.

Targeted Inputs for Brain and Nervous System Recovery

For patients with complex neurological conditions, we use specialized rehabilitation techniques designed to stimulate specific brain pathways, improve sensory integration, and build new neurological connections. This work is highly individualized — guided by each patient’s neurological assessment and designed to meet the nervous system exactly where it is.

These methods are used exclusively within our patient care programs and are not available as standalone services.

Root-Cause Investigation for Complex and Chronic Conditions

For many of our patients — especially those with unresolved, complex, or neurological health concerns — the missing piece is not another adjustment or therapy. It is a deeper look at what is happening inside the body at a biochemical and metabolic level. Functional medicine allows us to investigate the root causes of dysfunction: hormonal imbalances, gut dysbiosis, nutrient deficiencies, inflammatory markers, blood sugar dysregulation, and more.

We use targeted lab work and individualized nutritional strategies to address the chemical and metabolic interference that prevents the nervous system from healing. Food is information — and what you eat directly affects how your brain functions, how your gut communicates, and how much energy your cells have to repair. Nutrition at Meraki is not about diets or supplements for their own sake. It is about removing obstacles and giving the body the raw materials it needs to do what it was designed to do.

Functional medicine and nutrition support is available as part of our integrated patient care programs.

Restoring the Body’s Capacity to Heal at the Cellular Level

True healing requires energy. We use a range of evidence-informed therapies designed to support mitochondrial function, improve cellular voltage, enhance oxygenation, and reduce the physiological burden that chronic stress and environmental toxins place on the body. These therapies are integrated into patient care plans based on individual need and are not available as standalone public services.

These therapies include light-based therapies, frequency-based, and oxygen-based modalities.

Supporting the Whole Person — Brain, Body, and Spirit

Healing is not only physical. We incorporate tools and practices that support the emotional and mental layers of nervous system regulation — including breathwork-based therapies, vagus nerve stimulation, and guided relaxation techniques. These methods help shift the nervous system out of chronic fight-or-flight and into the parasympathetic state where genuine repair can occur.

These tools are used as part of our integrated care approach and are not available as standalone public services.

Reducing the Burden So the Body Can Do Its Work.

We support the body’s natural detoxification pathways through a combination of thermal therapies, lymphatic support, and lifestyle guidance. Reducing the toxic load — whether from environmental exposures, metabolic waste, or chronic inflammation — is an essential part of restoring cellular function and nervous system health.

Infrared sauna and cupping therapy are available to established patients by appointment.

Float therapy remains one of our most powerful tools for deep nervous system restoration — and it is the one service we continue to offer to the public.

Floating in a zero-gravity, sensory-reduced environment allows the brain to shift into theta brainwave states — the same deep, restorative state associated with healing, creativity, and profound relaxation. Without the constant demand of processing gravity and external stimuli, the body is free to direct its resources toward repair.

Float therapy has been shown to reduce stress, chronic pain, and inflammation; improve sleep and cognition; lower anxiety; and increase dopamine and endorphin levels — with effects that can last for days after a single session.

Float therapy is available to both patients and the public. Book your session below.

The tools we use are not random. Each one is chosen because it addresses a specific layer of interference, supports a specific phase of healing, or provides the nervous system with the input it needs to grow. If you are curious about which methods are right for you, the best place to start is a consultation.
